Description:
The Radar Systems Engineer is responsible to support all efforts with respect to the design, modification, integration, operation, maintenance and support of civil and military primary and secondary surveillance radar products and systems. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with primary surveillance tube and solid-state radar transmitters (Ku, X, C, S and L bands), waveform generators and exciters, receivers, signal processors, tracking and fusion processors. Knowledge of 2-D radar technology is required; experience with 3-D radars is a plus. Experience with reflector and phased array antenna technology is also plus. The successful candidate will also have extensive experience with Secondary Surveillance Radars (SSR); monopulse, Mode Select (MODE-S) and ATCRBS. Knowledge of and familiarity with civil aviation and air traffic control systems is a plus.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related discipline
